The day begins with a meeting at the horse stable located above the village of “Asim Zeneli.” Participants should arrive at the horse stable, which is a short 15-minute car ride from the city. Upon arrival, you will be introduced to the horses, guides, and the rules of riding.
After a brief period of riding tests and preparations, your riding experience commences by leading the horse from the stable to the nearby valley, which takes approximately 15 minutes. Once in the valley, you will mount the horses and embark on a thrilling journey through picturesque valleys and rolling hills, encountering various landscapes along the way.
The ride offers several opportunities for exhilarating canters, allowing you to experience the thrill of a faster pace while exploring the breathtaking surroundings. As you traverse the route, you’ll witness the ever-changing scenery, from the tranquil beauty of small hills to the vastness of the valleys. The presence of water bodies, such as the stunning Lake of Cini, adds to the enchantment of the ride.
During the ride, you’ll have the chance to take a short break by the Lake of Cini, an infrastructure from the time of communism designed for irrigation purposes. This historical feature provides a moment of reflection and allows you to appreciate the region’s past and its impact on the local landscape.
After the break, you’ll continue your journey, enjoying the beauty of the surroundings, including the vibrant flora, the livestock grazing in the area, and the daily life of the nearby village. As you make your way back, the ride concludes with a challenging ascent up steep hills, leading you back to the horse stable above the village of “Asim Zeneli”.
Please note that due to the varying terrain, the presence of canters, and the historical significance of the ride, it requires advanced riding skills to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
